Executive EMScom Alumni Association
smart.heads has, beginning in 2012, become the official Human Resources Partner for the Alumni Association of the EMScom Programme of the University of Lugano (Università della Svizzera italiana). The management personnel, who all hold Executive Master of Science in Communications diplomas, formed an international network of communications professionals in 2000 who work in challenging management positions in corporate communications. smart.heads will coach the more than 200 members on career issues and support them as they choose suitable positions.
Through smart.heads, the EMScom Alumni will receive competent support for their career planning. The company is specialised in functions in the areas of corporate communications, investor relations, public relations, public affairs, internal communications, marketing and social media / online communications and support well-known companies in their recruitment of such specialists and management personnel. Thanks to smart.heads, the EMScom Alumni will have an established human resources specialist available to them for the Swiss and German-speaking regions.
VSV
The Vereinigung Schweizerischer Verlagsfachleute VSV (Swiss Publishers Association) and smart.heads have entered into a human resources cooperation.
Under the VSV’s direction, the service offerings for members will be permanently expanded. As the latest offering, the VSV has, while cooperating with the personnel consulting firm smart.heads which specialises in the publishing industry, launched career consulting for all VSV members.
The VSV members thus receive the opportunity to, upon a free-of-charge basis, industry-specific support regarding the creation of professional application folders as well as personal consulting on their professional goals. In a so-called “starter package”, the fictitious applications of the VSV members are analysed and improved through the tips and tricks from the daily work of a human resources specialist. In addition, the interested members receive a consultation with an industry expert who will compare the respective applicant’s personal aspirations and goals with the current job market opportunities and options and make corresponding recommendations.
The acronym “VSV” stands for the “Vereinigung Schweizerischer Verlagsfachleute” which was founded in 1989 by graduates of the first "Publishing Specialist” study programme. Currently, it unites approx. 200 personalities from the Swiss publishing industry from various specialised segments such as print, online and electronic media.
Fachverein Personalmanagement und Interne Kommunikation
Die Aktivitäten des Vereins umfassen im Wesentlichen regelmässige Veranstaltungen für Kommunikations- und Personalexperten, eine jährlich stattfindende Schweizerische Tagung Interne Kommunikation, die Entwicklung von Weiterbildungsangeboten sowie die Initiierung und Begleitung von Forschungsarbeiten.
Mit der in Zug domizilierten smart.heads, spezialisiert auf Rekrutierungs- und Selektionsaufgaben von Fach- und Führungskräften aus den Bereichen Corporate Communications, Marketing und Medien wird das attraktive Service-Angebot für die Mitglieder des Fachvereins weiter ausgeweitet. „Wir stehen mitten in der Schnittstelle zwischen HR-Verantwortlichen und Kommunikationsleitung.
